We can all, at times, feel out of control with our emotions, find ourselves in dark places feeling stuck, needing extra support to manage the challenges of life.
Are you struggling with your mental health, seeking relief from the grip of anxiety, depression, or stress? Perhaps you find yourself entangled in a web of difficult emotions like anger, loneliness, or sadness? Are you weighed down by the burden of people-pleasing behaviours, feeling disempowered in your own life? Perhaps you need a place to vent or find clarity to a situation? I believe counselling can benefit everybody no matter how big or small you feel your reason is.
My aim is that by the end of our work together you will understand yourself on a much deeper level, be able to cope with your feelings better and feel more empowered to move forward with your life authentically.
For the times outside the therapy room where you might be feeling overwhelmed, we can look at various different tools and techniques to help regulate your emotions. These tools can assist you to feel back in the present moment, enabling you to continue with your day, feeling grounded and in control.
My work is integrative, meaning I draw on a variety of techniques and tools to assist you, tailoring my approach to your own individual needs. The work we do together will be completely unique to you as there is no one size fits all. I deeply believe that everybody has the capacity to reach their full potential and my work is rooted in this belief. My role as a counsellor, can offer you a clam space to alleviate emotional suffering and facilitate personal growth. I aim to shine a light on your own unique power, which may not be in your awareness at this point in time.
I've also earned a certificate in trauma-informed counselling, equipping me with invaluable tools and knowledge to support clients in processing traumatic events effectively.

I have gained a wealth of experience working in some amazing counselling charities and agencies. I am currently counselling in Longfield Hospice, however I have previously worked at Listening Post and Heart to Heart working with people from all walks walks of life. How I work
My main areas of expertise are Person Centred and Psychodynamic therapies.
Person Centred approach
Focuses on the here and now, offering an enriching experience by holding the therapeutic relationship with the upmost importance. You are the expert of you and together we can explore your beliefs, values and fears to build self-awareness and strengthen your sense of self.
Psychodynamic therapy
Looks at our childhood experiences, working with the unconscious mind, which out of our awareness, is running the show. By bringing these unconscious feelings, patterns and coping mechanisms to our awareness, we can work on moving towards the life you want and deserve. Our past is very much alive in our present and through understanding our past, we can liberate the present.
